Faced with regulatory, social and economic volatility, a client needed clarity to inform its operational and investment decisions. We delivered well-researched and insightful market and environmental analysis, regulatory and financial modelling and impact assessments to forecast key drivers of change. Our recommendations enabled the Executive board to make informed decisions on cost reductions, support a strategic pivot in operations and invest with confidence over the long term.

A federal Government client faced with an increasingly challenging operational environment was required to merge like capabilities into a single, unified Command structure.
Our team reviewed core capabilities, policy and governance to understand the current and future operating environments, and the required capabilities to achieve success. We designed an actional reform strategy and associated change management approach to achieve reform efforts. Delivered by our small team in an Agile environment, the client later expanded this approach across its enterprise.

An outdated operating model and changing regulatory environment was directly impeding our client’s operations, increasing organisational risk, and impacting profitability and sustainability. A new fit-for-purpose model was needed.
Embedded in a multidisciplinary team, our team conducted a current state assessment and gap analysis of the entity’s operating model, co-designed future state options ensuring alignment with legislation, better practice and revised accounting standards and supported phased implementation of the ministerial-approved approach.
The result: streamlined operations, risk reduction, immediate cost savings and improved performance.
